Scholarship Awards

The Mission of the Madden Women's Association is to provide financial support for continuing education through annual scholarship awards to graduating African-American female high school and college students and to provide financial and active support for the Greater Dayton Youth Golf Academy. Since 1998 MWA has been privileged to present scholarships totaling nearly $32,000 to 37 ambitious women.

2010 Scholarship Recipients

Chante' Chanice Jackson graduated from Stivers School for the Arts and is attending the University of Toledo with a major in Psychology.


Rhine Nicol Morland graduated from Stivers School for the Arts with a 3.67 GPA. She is attending the University of Dayton and majoring in Mechanical Engineering. She is also a proud first year member of the UD Women's Golf team.
